Our printers for checks come standard with a 90 day warranty and undergo a meticulous ten step refurbishing process - of course, all done in the USA:
1. Each MICR printer is disassembled to the frame
2. It is then vacuumed and blown free of toner, dust and debris
3. Each printer is then carefully inspected by two certified technicians
4. The laser scanner is cleaned
5. The fuser assembly is refurbished by cleaning, re-lubricating and replacing the fuser film when necessary.
6. The pickup rollers, feed rollers and separation pads are all replaced
7. The paper path tests are performed on all sources including all trays and duplexer with a minimum of 200 pages each.
8. The network card (if applicable) is then tested and updated to the latest firmware version.
9. The formatter board is also updated to the latest version (if applicable)
10. The exterior casing of the printer is cleaned and professionally boxed with foam in place – ready to ship directly to your door!
